You’ll LOVE having him at a play-based preschool! They’ll get around to learning all the fun things that preschoolers are supposed to learn like ABCs and colors and shapes and all that stuff, but he’ll have so much fun and he’ll be able to interact with his peers so well going into Kindergarten. Yay for awesome preschools that let 2 year old be 2 year olds! And yes, we put both of our kids in preschool at 2 years old also. It’s good for them, and good for the parents too!

wow, it sucks you had to have the general! I was willing to accept that I was having a c-section but I REALLY REALLY wanted to be awake!!! I really hope you get to do the VBAC but if you have to have another section I hope you get to be awake!

I didn’t think the c-section was too bad. I don’t know if I’ll attempt VBAC next time or not. I do totally agree that those days right after seem to last forever! I remember the day after surgery turning to Trevor and being like “wait that was YESTERDAY?!” Between getting to the hospital at 5:30 AM, having this totally huge thing happen, all the drugs and no sleep I was certain it was a week ago.

My sister has a Mazda MVP and she really likes it. Her older kid can get in and out by herself and Kerstin says that is VERY key to her sanity! It’s sort of a compact minivan and it drives pretty easy (although you’re used to a Pilot so you’ll probably have no trouble even with a big minivan!)

It seems like everybody I know is like “I don’t want a minivan!” but once they get one they’re like “I love my minivan!” so just go for it

Having children can definitely cut into the time you have for yard-work let alone for gardening! Be really really careful working with the soil when pregnant there are some nasty germs buried in there so wear gardening gloves and avoid pulling/yanking on things too much.

I was really disappointed by Up All Night as well. I liked Whitney though. The supporting cast was sort of lame but she and the boyfriend are hilarious to me.

Congrats on baby #2!! So exciting I hope it’s happy and healthy, either way. Girls are hard work – VERY hard work. There are some days that I’m mostly sure that Kate or myself will not make it to bedtime, but then she flips the switch and does something so sweet. She definitely challenges me as a parent in a much different way than Brett does. It’s fun to have one of each – it definitely keeps you on your toes! Jack looks like such a sweetheart – I’m sure he’ll be great with the baby!
