omg! I’m excited for them! I was thinking it had to be close to time, but I could never remember her due date. Now they both quit slacking off and get back to soccer. Leave the baby on the bench – nothing like a bunch of sweaty, gross strangers to look after your kid when you’re on the field. Breast feed when you sub out…it could work!

Daycare (or preschool ) is definitely a great place to send your kid to get sick! also a great place to send your kid to bring germs home and make you sick!!

This work situation sounds like a great compromise. I’m really glad they were so flexible with you and how wonderful that your family is there to help out also! I can tell from Facebook that Meg really looooooooooooves her little nephew!

Awesome! That is a great feeling.

Someone I know can’t get their baby to sleep in the crib and he’s 9 months old now. He’s been sleeping in their bed since birth and they can’t get him out!

My go-to oatmeal is made with old fashioned oats (much better texture than the instant / quick oats), lots of cinnamon, dried cranberries, some milk or water, a pinch of salt, and some brown sugar. 1-2 minutes in the microwave. Other things to stir into your oatmeal: peanut butter, chopped fresh fruit (bananas, apples, pears), dried fruits of all kinds, nuts, chocolate chips, nutella… I’ve even heard of people making savory oatmeal with cheese and bacon!

Oh, and I used to think yogurt sucked too… until I discovered greek yogurt. It’s much thicker, like pudding, so I like it better.

Oatmeal cookies! Seriously though, I can’t stand the texture of the regular stuff, so I do oatmeal bars.
